Pinched Petal Necklace Project

I’ve been dying to get to this project. I just love this cane. After much thought and discerning with my collage and tasting tiles, I decided that the primary colors for my palette are cadmium yellow, fuchsia & ultramarine blue. The motor for my “Dream Machine” finally arrived so I made a seriously big skinner blend with these colors.

I used most of this blend to make a very large cane so I would have leftovers to use for another project. As you can see, my black & white cane went a little off center and didn’t stay straight throughout but I love it in spite of these imperfections. I have all the petals formed and ready to go into the oven. After they are baked and strung, I will compare them to the colors in my collage and see if I have the right primaries.
